Temporary functionality limitations in beta version
Dear user,
you are using a beta version of Twake Workplace and may experience some functionality limitations or bugs. We are doing our best to make the product better and would appreciate your feedback - the contact form can be found at [link], please take the time to fill it out and send it to us. We handle all enquiries, nothing goes unheeded. Below you can see the list of features we are working on debugging right now.
Twake Chat
Notifications.
Occasionally you may not receive a notification in your browser or on your mobile phone. To keep the information up to date, please refresh the page for the web version and close and reopen the mobile app. Make sure notifications are enabled both within the app and on your system - browser or mobile phone
Cross encryption.
This is a system complexity of the Matrix protocol, as by default information is stored locally on a single device. In the case of logging into the same account from different devices, some of the messages may be encrypted. Correspondence will be saved on one device, but there may be errors in synchronisation. The good news is that this problem will be fixed in the next releases.
Video preview.
Video preview in chat may be displayed with errors. However, it plays without difficulties if you click on it and open it in full screen.
Creating a chat by exact Matrix ID.
Creating chats using the exact Matrix ID (@user:example.com) can be tricky, but we're working on simplifying the logic of the process. To create a chat, type the desired Matrix ID into the search box and click on the result that appears.
Sending large files.
Sending files larger than 10 MB can be error prone - if you think the file has not been sent, wait about ten seconds, there may be delays in sending the information to the server. The maximum file size you can send is 100 Mgb.
Counters.
It is possible inaccurate display of all received messages, new messages in a particular chat, in chats in ‘mute’ mode.
Twake Drive
Quota.
You have 2 GB of disc space available, but the display of remaining and filled space may be distorted.
Logic while moving files.
If you have only one folder on your disc, the way you move files may raise questions. You need to have more than one folder to take full advantage of this feature.
Loading large files.
You cannot upload a file larger than the quota provided, it means not more than 2Gb
Twake Mail
Search and filtering.
Filters for more precise search will be added after release and highlighting of the searched word will be implemented
File drag and drop
Drag and drop may work with errors.
Signatures.
Drag & Drop may not work properly when you add a picture to your signature.
Drafts.
The system may prompt you to save a draft even if you have already done so.
